Story time! So last Tuesday, I was sitting on Olive road at a red light. I was just staring straight ahead listening to E! on my XM Radio, totally bummed about Heath Ledger. Just sitting there, until BAM a kid nails me from behind in his truck. Luckily I was the first person at the red light so I did not smash into anyone. The kid and I pull over so we can take a look at the damage. Since September I've been driving a Toyota Rav4

while the kid was driving a truck similiar to this: http://infohost.nmt.edu/~bob/vehicles/ford_f350_61_01a.jpg so you can imagine who won. But, the kid hit me so hard that my car now needs a new trunk door, inside trunk piece, 2 outside side pannels, 1 new door pannel on the passenger side back seat, bumper and new spare time with protective casing. Basically, the back of my car was beginning to cave inwards. His car was completely smashed in in the front with both lights hanging out of their sockets like horror movie eye balls. Thankfully, the Pit Bull he had in the back was just fine. Ugh. So we exchanged insurance and his was effective 12/30/2007. In the end, we were both able to drive away. My car is getting fixed and the rental is completely covered by his insurance. No one was hurt. I ended up with a seatbelt bruise, sore shoulder and lower back. But if I had not being wearing my seat belt, I would have ate my windshield. So, there you go. Seatbelts are good. They save lives. Soapbox - off.
P.S. American Idol is in Omaha tomorrow. Hooray! The Midwest is going to get such a slam down by the look at me love me West Coast bias.
P.S.S: Went and saw Juno and Untraceable this weekend. Juno was awesome. I thought Untraceable was fun also, but it's getting slammed by the critics. I read that people see the level of violence as Hostel or Saw for the yuppie crowd, but I thought it was pretty tame. Didn't make it to Rambo though, darn it.
